Safety and your rights
What applies depends on who you are buying from, and it is on every listing before you pay.
The money stays until you have the item
Payment goes to Gaddr rather than straight to the seller. The seller's share is released when you confirm you have what you paid for, or when the confirmation window runs out. We never see your card number. Payment happens at the provider, and it is the provider's confirmation that makes an order paid, never the page you land back on.
Buying from a business
You have a fourteen-day right of withdrawal under the Swedish distance contracts act (2005:59) and the consumer sales act (2022:260) applies to the goods. The business must publish who it is and where it is, and those details are on the listing. For digital content delivered immediately the right of withdrawal can fall away, but only if you expressly consented to delivery starting and acknowledged that the right is lost. That consent is taken at checkout, not in the terms.
Buying from a private person
Neither the consumer sales act nor the right of withdrawal applies. The sale of goods act (1990:931) governs a sale between two private people, and it gives you considerably less. That is why every listing says which it is. The seller declares it themselves and we never infer it: inferring one way puts duties on somebody who never accepted them, and the other way tells you that you have no rights when you do.
If something goes wrong
Open a dispute on the order. The payout is paused while it is open and both sides can write. A review left under an open dispute is kept out of the seller's average until the dispute is settled. Counting it would leak which way it is going, which is exactly what the hold is for.
What may not be sold
Alcohol, tobacco, prescription medicines, weapons and knives covered by the Swedish knife act, live animals, and anything requiring a licence we do not hold. A listing is stopped as it is written rather than after somebody reports it. That is worse for whoever is testing the limit and better for everybody else.
